If you're already here, you most likely came from a Shelter website that uses Adopets as their Adoption Management System.

When browsing through animals and visiting their profiles, you will fall in love with a furry friend: that's when the Adopt me comes in handy, and your adoption journey begins.

Once you click on the Adopt me button, if you already have an Adopets account, you will be taken directly to fill out the adoption questionnaire for that pet. If you don't or are not logged in, you will be asked to sign up or log in.

Once that is done, and you have submitted your adoption application, it will be reviewed by the organization in charge.

You will be notified via email when that process starts and for every other important step in the adoption process. If you're approved for that adoption, you will also receive an email when it is time to sign your adoption agreement and pay for the pet's adoption fee.

As this process varies from organization to organization and can take from 2 to 7 days, please, be patient. Shelters are as excited as you are to find homes for all of these lovely furry friends, but this process typically takes time.
